Position Overview

Lead the strategic vision and roadmap for the enablement of Marketing Analytics and Performance Measurement products. In this role, your primary role is to connect data to insights that drive action. As such, you will be working to develop measurement products such as Return on Marketing Investment, Attribution, and Media Mix Modelling.  

 

As Sr. Product Manager, focused on Marketing Analytics & Performance, you will drive planning and rolling 12-month roadmap of solutions that positively drives customer lifecycle and go-to-market motions for demand and revenue generation. The role has a global scope, and you will work closely with a team of cross-domain Product Managers, Data Science & Machine Learning teams, Engineering and Business stakeholders in Worldwide Marketing at Autodesk.  

Your role is to build a whole and persistent approach to the way Autodesk develops analytics and resulting business intelligence in marketing (and sales) across digital, territory and ABM. You drive outcomes and paint the picture of what’s possible.  

 

You will bring a deep knowledge and understanding of Product Management. You are a practitioner of product management. You understand consumer dynamics, business operations and marketing and sales automation. You will have direct experience working with business stakeholders and engineering teams spread out globally. You are a storyteller and can easily move from describing a technical requirement to an engineer to describing a business strategic concept to a director. You are comfortable prioritizing backlogs based on value and impact.  

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and drive the product strategy and roadmap for marketing analytics products, which includes purpose, methodology, associated data and analytics, that can be incorporated across marketing processes such as planning, demand generation, spend optimization and lead and pipeline conversion as an example

  • Some of the key initiatives will be to develop a comprehensive Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI) solution, Marketing Attribution and Media Mix Modelling to start with and subsequently, you will mature the practise of Marketing measurement to drive insights needed for business decisioning, in alignment with Marketing Analytics teams

  • Defining KPIs and Metrics: Establishing key performance indicators to measure success of analytics products being developed to drive business intelligence and insights  

  • Experimentation and A/B Testing: Designing and implementing experiments to test hypotheses and gather data on potential business impacts

  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Working closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to align on business goals with data-driven insights

  • Presenting Insights: Communicating findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable way, driving data-informed decision-making

  • Data Storytelling: Crafting compelling narratives with data to influence product strategy and gain buy-in from stakeholders

  • Create prioritization strategy and build a rolling 12-month roadmap

  • Finalize PRDs & Success Metrics, closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams

  • Write Epic definitions and backlogs

  • Outline OKR definition & impact delivery (for your backlog)

  • Drive Legal risk review

  • Create User Journey Flows and Persona Definitions in partnership with UX

     

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience

  • 5+ years of combined experience in technical product management or product ownership, with a focus on data science and/or Analytics in data-rich environments

  • Experience with Marketing solutions building Attribution and Forecasting models in marketing planning, demand generation, lead management, segmentation and targeting is preferred

  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing large datasets, data schemas and data structures to extract actionable insights is crucial. Familiarity with tools like SQL, Python, R, and data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI is also crucial

  • Statistical Knowledge: Understanding of statistical methods and their application in A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling

  • AI literacy: Basic AI skills and awareness of developing advanced analytical models and ability to leverage machine learning for more accurate and insightful data analysis

  • Business Acumen: Ability to align data insights with business goals and understand market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes

  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of software development and database management, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams

  • User-centric Design Knowledge: Ensuring analytics tools are intuitive and meet the needs of end-users to enhance overall productivity and user satisfaction

  • Software Development Understanding: Basic proficiency in coding and effective engagement with technical teams to ensure robust implementation, and scalable analytical solutions

  • Be comfortable driving multiple strategic initiatives at the same time

  • Be comfortable managing a stakeholder group of Director+ 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Experience in B2B environment in Tech industry is preferred

  • Knowledge of Marketing Automation, CRM, Events Technologies, ABM and Conversational Marketing is a plus
