Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the platform team to support a number of platform initiatives that cut across the company.
We’re looking for someone who’s strategic, has strong product and design sense, works great cross-functionally, and a hustle “move fast” mindset.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and champion a vision & strategy for your area, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy, business objectives, and platform needs.
- Work closely with clients to develop overall strategy, understand needs and priorities, and lead alignment on the plan ahead
- Drive execution by partnering closely with engineering throughout the product lifecycle
- Communicate to stakeholders and leads proactively and clearly, to ensure alignment and flag risks or decisions needed early
- Anticipate future needs of the platform and the business, ensuring the platform scales and evolves efficiently and proactively
- Define, monitor, and report on relevant metrics for platform success. Clearly articulate the impact and value of platform investments to stakeholders
Key skills needed:
- 3+ years of product management experience. Prior platform product management experience is a plus
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to influence and align teams.
- Can get technically deep and engage engineering on detailed engineering design options and trade-off decisions
- Strong execution skills, consistently deliver high quality platform capabilities on time.
- Excellent ability to prioritise a complex backlog, balancing competing needs
- Hustle and bias for action
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a structured approach to identifying complex and ambiguous problems within the platform domain, breaking them down, and devising effective and scalable solutions
