Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development and evolution of our Media Monitoring products in the China market. This role is responsible for defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on user needs, market dynamics, and company objectives. The ideal candidate will combine deep product expertise with strong cross-functional collaboration skills to drive product excellence, user satisfaction, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate company-level strategic goals into actionable product strategies, roadmaps, feature priorities, release schedules, and success metrics for social listening and public opinion monitoring products.
- Conduct comprehensive market, competitive, user, and product research—including user interviews, surveys, data analysis, and prototyping—to inform product decisions and ensure solutions meet both user expectations and business objectives.
- Own end-to-end product lifecycle management: from ideation and definition through launch, post-launch monitoring, and iteration based on user feedback and performance data.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including PRDs, user stories, go-to-market plans, and training materials.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to align priorities, share knowledge, and ensure successful product delivery and adoption.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 6–8 years of product management experience, with at least 3–4 years with a focus on digital media/social intelligence, B2B SaaS, data analytics, AI-driven platforms or brand analytics products.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments and managing products through full lifecycle stages.
- Strong understanding of Chinese social media ecosystems, public opinion dynamics, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Experience working with data science or AI/ML teams to deliver insights-driven products is a strong plus.
- Prior experience collaborating with PR, marketing, media monitoring business is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin; professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Deep empathy for users, obsession with product quality, and bias for action.
- Comfortable working with data—able to define KPIs, interpret user behavior, and use insights to guide decisions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product tools (e.g., Jira, Figma, etc.).
