About the role?

We’re looking for a hands‑on Senior Product Designer who thrives in native mobile. Our app has just surpassed 120,000 sign-ups, and we’re now focused on bringing our Find / Buy / Own vision to life at scale. You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, Data and business stakeholders to design, ship and iterate high‑quality iOS and Android experiences that deliver customer value and commercial outcomes.
This role reports to the Head of Design and is a Full Time, Perm opportunity to make a tangible impact on our mobile product experience.

Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Transform customer and business outcomes into native mobile experiences that bring our Find / Buy / Own vision to life.
  • Design experiences that integrate financial and property data into simple, human-centred journeys.
  • Shape end-to-end journeys, from discovery to ownership, balancing simplicity, trust, and compliance.
  • Lead research and discovery: interviews, testing, and turning insights into actionable artefacts.
  • Design information architecture, micro-interactions, and polished UI, stress-testing for accessibility and edge cases.
  • Champion customer outcomes in prioritisation, ensuring design decisions balance business goals with user needs.
  • Contribute to and maintain our mobile design system, collaborating with engineers to ensure quality and performance.
  • Leverage AI tools for ideation, prototyping, research synthesis, and personalization, ensuring ethical and compliant use.
  • Work in cross-functional agile squads, communicating design rationale, facilitating workshops, and iterating based on data.

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • 6+ years designing native iOS and Android apps, with shipped products that demonstrate impact.
  • Mastery of interaction design fundamentals: IA, user flows, journeys, heuristics, accessibility, and edge/error states.
  • Strong visual design craft: layout, typography, hierarchy, and brand expression; fluent with platform UI patterns.
  • Experience running and analysing user research and usability testing, turning insights into actionable design decisions.
  • Hands-on with Figma, familiar with whiteboarding tools (Miro/Whimsical) and prototyping/testing workflows.
  • Proven ability to integrate AI into the design process for ideation, prototyping, research synthesis, and content, with awareness of ethics and risk.
  • Comfortable in agile, cross-functional teams, making informed trade-offs and communicating design rationale; portfolio with clear case studies preferred.
  • Nice to have: Background in designing for trust-heavy, data-rich domains such as fintech, health, or property tech.
