The Senior Account Manager plays a pivotal role in post-sales client relationships, driving platform adoption, campaign performance, and account growth. You’ll oversee a portfolio of strategic clients and act as a trusted advisor who ensures StackAdapt delivers measurable success across both managed and self-service engagements.

You’ll collaborate closely with Sales Managers, the Global Client Services (GCS) team, and cross-functional partners such as Ad Operations, Creative Strategy, and Data Analytics to optimize campaign ROI, build client trust, and identify growth opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing:Client Strategy & Engagement
  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients.
  • Lead post-sales strategy including user adoption, campaign management, and account expansion.
  • Build multi-threaded relationships with agency stakeholders across seniority levels.
  • Proactively identify client needs, providing strategic counsel and data-driven insights to exceed performance goals.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), performance presentations, and client education sessions.
Campaign Management & Optimization
  • Manage end-to-end campaign setup, including trafficking, third-party tag implementation, and pixel troubleshooting.
  • Analyze campaign data to identify optimization opportunities and recommend data-backed solutions to improve ROI.
  • Develop innovative campaign strategies leveraging StackAdapt’s multi-channel capabilities (Display, Video, Native, Connected TV, DOOH, and Audio).
  • Provide best practices for campaign design, attribution, and measurement using tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and third-party ad servers.
Collaboration & Internal Leadership
  • Work closely with Account Executives, GCS, and cross-functional teams to drive client success and retention.
  • Lead internal initiatives to improve operational efficiency, share insights, and standardize optimization frameworks.
  • Mentor junior Account Managers, supporting skill development, troubleshooting, and client strategy discussions.
  • Contribute to team enablement by sharing optimization best practices and client success stories.
Account Growth & Retention
  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities, driving account expansion through consultative selling.
  • Monitor client business changes (e.g., funding rounds, acquisitions, leadership shifts) to uncover new growth areas.
  • Manage renewals and deliver sustained quarter-over-quarter growth across your client base.
  • Leverage insights to help clients discover new revenue opportunities before they do.
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • 6+ years of experience in programmatic media buying, client success, or account management.
  • Proven expertise in campaign optimization and performance strategy within DSPs or agency environments.
  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and Holdco organizational structures.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to craft insights from performance data.
  • Excellent project management, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel (~20%) for client meetings and industry events. 

The compensation range listed for this role reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in the posting country based on a global rate. It is informed by market data and the approved budget for this position. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned to the candidate’s current location. We do not ask candidates about current or prior salary history, and we will not use such information, if volunteered, in setting an offer.

This range represents base salary only. Depending on the role, candidates may also be eligible for additional compensation such as annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Factors Influencing Final Compensation:

  • The final compensation offer will be determined by a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to: the candidate's specific experience, technical skills, knowledge, abilities, and relevant education, licensure, and certifications.
  • Other business factors, such as organizational needs and budget alignment, may also be considered in the final offer.
Base Salary Band
$118,656$163,152 AUD
