About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 12-month engagement supporting the delivery of key initiatives within NorthConnex. This role will lead the delivery of roadside technology, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), and supporting infrastructure projects aligned to NorthConnex's 5-year strategic roadmap. Working closely with project sponsors, stakeholders, and senior leadership, you will manage medium to large-scale projects from initiation through to operational handover, ensuring successful outcomes and the delivery of lasting business value.

From intelligent traffic management and tunnel operations to connected vehicles, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure, you’ll help deliver innovative solutions that keep millions of people and goods moving every day.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of transport technology, ITS, and OT/IT infrastructure projects across multiple workstreams.
- Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring delivery aligns with governance frameworks, budgets, schedules, and strategic objectives.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change impacts to support successful outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and delivery partners across technology, operational, and business functions.
- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, providing clear communication, reporting, and governance oversight.
- Lead the delivery of roadside technology deployments, systems integrations, and lifecycle upgrade initiatives.
- Oversee enhancements to Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) infrastructure supporting road network operations.
About You:
- Proven experience delivering technology, infrastructure, ITS, OT, or IT projects.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and multiple priorities.
- Experience with systems integration, technology deployments, or operational infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to AI-enabled tools, data analytics, and emerging technologies is highly regarded.
