Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities
This is a permanent role responsible for looking after a number of large-scale warehouse and distribution centre projects and will involve:
- Management of all activities associated with the assigned project/s from the receipt of a customer order to the completion of the project
- Liaising with relevant internal teams and external parties to ensure the project is completed on time, within the agreed budget and to the agreed functionality
- Managing the project reporting, revenue collection and cash flow planning
- Managing resourcing and staff planning, including coordination of sub-contractors
- Develop strong customer relationships to understand their needs and provide recommendations based on their business and operational environments
- Communicating with all relevant stakeholders at each stage of the project life cycle
ABOUT YOU – WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or a related business field
- Proven extensive experience 8 - 10 years in construction and/or installation for large scale, complex projects
- Knowledge of construction or installation processes, materials, and methods
- Strong knowledge of construction industry regulations
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills and stakeholder management
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficient in financial controlling software and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong understanding of financial outcomes and ability to meet critical deadlines
- Ability to travel across Sydney and interstate
