About the RoleAs a Senior Project Manager, lead the planning and delivery of sub-utility scale (<5MW) renewable energy projects, ensuring successful execution across development and delivery phases. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and commercial outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesDevelopment
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Develop project execution strategies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections to assess and mitigate site-specific risks.
• Contribute to project structure, timelines, methodologies, and contract terms.
• Coordinate with engineering, sales, service, and finance teams to support project scoping and feasibility.
• Engage with clients and subcontractors as a subject matter expert during early project stages.
Delivery
• Serve as the main contact for all technical and commercial communications.
• Manage client and contractor relationships in line with project plans.
• Administer contracts, including variations and extensions of time.
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
• Drive project performance across schedule, cost, quality, and scope.
• Prepare and maintain project-specific documentation, including HSEQ plans.
• Provide regular progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Capture and share lessons learned to improve future project outcomes.
• Oversee final quality assurance and commissioning processes.
Work Health & Safety (WHS)
• Lead WHS planning and implementation across all project phases.
• Ensure compliance with IASES Integrated Management System (IMS) and relevant legislation.
• Develop and enforce site-specific WHS plans and risk assessments.
• Promote a proactive safety culture among team members and contractors.
• Conduct WHS audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations as required.
• Ensure environmental and quality standards are upheld throughout project delivery
• Bachelor of Engineering, related field or equivalent combination of education
• Work Health and Safety for Supervisors and Managers
• Project Management Professional (desired)
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
• Experience in the Power Generation Industry
• Relevant industry experience in the delivery of behind the meter solar and BESS projects for Commercial and Industrial customers (5+ years)
• Office and Site based
