Asula is a bitcoin company focused on building the next generation of financial products at the intersection of blockchains, bitcoin, stablecoins and finance.
Currently we’re working on Dawn, our mobile interface that allows users to save and grow their assets through bitcoin and stablecoins. Beyond Dawn, we're working on making bitcoin swaps and credit available to holders of all sizes through onchain protocols.
For this role we're seeking protocol-focused engineers who can work across the blockchain stack to ship new protocols while balancing speed and safety. The core expectations from a candidate in this role would be to:
Develop and maintain smart contracts for the SVM.
Develop and maintain schemes for collateral management on bitcoin where expressivity is limited.
Design fundamentally sound protocols for lending and insurance.
3+ years of experience designing protocols for financial applications like decentralized exchanges and lending markets.
Solid understanding of consensus, blockchain architecture and virtual machine concepts (especially as they pertain to Solana).
Experience with audits, deployment and maintenance of onchain protocols.
Prior experience building on top of bitcoin.
Prior experience building application-specific blockchains from consensus and networking to business logic.
