As a Senior Reporting & Insights Analyst, you'll provide data-driven insights and solutions, maintain dashboards, and mentor junior analysts.

How you'll make an impact
In this role, you will be a key analytical partner for our Customer group, transforming complex data challenges into scalable solutions that drive strategic outcomes. Your primary purpose is to provide data-driven advice and insights by designing and maintaining dashboards, building robust data pathways, and enabling self-service solutions.
You will use your technical expertise in SQL, Python/R, and data engineering practices (like DBT) to optimize performance and improve operational efficiency. A crucial part of your role will be translating your analysis into well-researched recommendations to guide effective decision-making. As a senior analyst, you will also build strong relationships with stakeholders across Xero and play a vital part in coaching and mentoring junior team members.
What you'll do
- Maintain all business as usual reporting for CX & CXLT
- Use your data analysis skills to design, build, and automate new solutions for stakeholders
- Provide technical oversight and support for the R&I team
- Balance your time in directly supporting our global CX leadership team Providing analysis, advice, and recommendations to continually improve business wider performance improvement
- Proactively identifying and analyzing any potential issues, risks, and opportunities to provide a better customer experience and recommend appropriate solutions
What you'll bring with you
- Strong proficiency in data analysis using SQL, Tableau, or PowerBI
- Strong communication & presentation skills
- Diligence and commitment to following through and resolving problems
- Initiative and ability to self manage, along with flexibility
- Ability to build effective relationships
- A proven team player who pro actively assists other team members
- Experience in statistical analysis tools such as R or Python is desirable
- Experience with LLM’s / AI tooling
- Experience in Salesforce and Google Analytics is desirable
