This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to support the Customer & Brand team in executing Line 1 Risk management activities.
Job DescriptionIn this role you will:
Support the management of incidents, breaches, issues, and actions across Customer & Brand.
Collaborate with control owners to develop and execute the annual Controls Assessment Plan for Customer & Brand.
Lead the annual Risk and Controls Self-Assessment across the business unit.
Prepare regular risk-related reports for the Leadership Team, Executive Team, and Board.
Assist the Customer & Brand Business Manager in implementing the Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) requirements across the business unit.
Lead uplift activities required for CPS230.
Ensure ongoing compliance with risk management policies and procedures, including Data, Records, and Third-Party Risk Management.
Lead business resilience related activities for Customer & Brand.
Provide support to business unit on risk and compliance related matters, including risk in change assessments.
Drive a strong risk culture across the business unit, ensuring a sound understanding of TAL’s risk management processes.
Relevant Academic Qualifications: A university degree in a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a relevant Risk Management and/or Compliance role, preferably within the financial services or life insurance industry.
Proactive Self-Starter: Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
Attention to detail: Passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes.
Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills with proven experience in engaging with senior stakeholders.
Collaborative: Strong ability to build long lasting working relationships.
Analytical and Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Forward-Thinking: Willing to constructively challenge the status quo.
Curious: Eager to continuously learn and develop.
