The opportunity

We’re seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to join our AUSPAC Business Risk team, supporting the effective monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement of risk management practices, while working closely with stakeholders to uplift risk maturity across AUSPAC.

Your new role
A day in the role may look a bit like this:
- Monitor and report on risk matters and metrics across business units, leadership teams and governance forums
- Analyse risk data to identify trends and support the development of practical, fit‑for‑purpose solutions
- Proactively manage risk management activities, timelines and obligations to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain accurate, high‑quality data within QBE’s Insight risk system, including centralised data entry
- Contribute to risk capability uplift through education initiatives, governance support, intranet/SharePoint updates and targeted risk or compliance projects
About you
To be successful in this role you will have
- Experience working in risk, compliance, governance or internal audit within a complex organisation
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, controls and reporting
- High attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach to managing multiple tasks
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and insights from risk data
- Well‑developed stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Knowledge of insurance or financial services (desirable)
