Job Description

In this role, you’ll support our Claims business by providing expert guidance across risk management and compliance. Using your practical knowledge, you’ll help identify key risks and issues, uncover root causes, and support the design of effective, measurable solutions.

You’ll work independently on day-to-day risk activities, collaborating with stakeholders and escalating more complex matters where needed. Your insights will help shape smarter decisions and ensure we continue to deliver the best outcomes for our customers.

In This Role You Will

  • Deliver high quality and commercially conscious risk advice across the organisation with a key focus on the claims business unit.
  • Provide Line 2 risk support with incident management, regulatory reporting, risk profile reviews, change initiatives, monitoring, issues and controls management.
  • Ensure appropriate Risk Management and/or Compliance reporting is generated and escalated as appropriate.
  • Generate insights to support risk owners in appropriately addressing and managing key risks.
  • Monitor developments in relevant professional fields and act as a source of technical guidance to resolve escalated problems.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop appropriate solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a relevant Risk Management and/or Compliance environment or similar
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member
  • Relevant analysis skills
  • A sound understanding of the insurance industry
  • Familiarity with the relevant Business Unit and TAL-wide procedures, policies and guidelines
  • Computer literacy and a good knowledge of relevant software
  • Strong written and verbal communication
