Where we work
Udemy is a global company headquartered in San Francisco, with additional U.S. offices in Denver and Austin, and international hubs in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, and Türkiye. This is an in-office position, requiring three days a week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

About this role
Udemy is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer with excellent communication and organization skills, knowledge and experience in software development and product design. You have a strong passion for helping businesses become modern “learning organizations”. The Solution Engineer will work closely with Udemy’s GTM Teams as well as PDE to design, build and scale innovative solutions.
What you'll be doing:
Design and Implement Go-To-Market Solutions: Develop and support solutions that enhance and expedite our team's capability to deliver top-tier learning solutions.
Technical Expertise: Act as the technical subject matter expert on all aspects of the Udemy product, including web app to API integrations and user account management.
Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Collect and document business cases and requirements. Create reference architectures to effectively design and build solutions, ensuring clear communication with internal stakeholders such as Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
Solution Creation and Documentation: Develop both externally and internally facing solutions. Produce documentation including internal tools, playbooks, best practices, and API integration capabilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various Udemy teams, particularly Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Sales Engineering, to run effective beta programs for new tools and features. Use feedback from these programs to drive further enhancements and scalability of systems.
What you’ll have
6- 8 years of enterprise Solution Engineering and Consulting experience in a SaaS organization
Experience in Software Development, building a variety of tools & applications. (Frontend & Backend)
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or an equivalent degree and experience
You are passionate about education and technology, and are driven to build effective solutions to our Partners (and Customers) and enable them to easily and effectively engage Udemy’s learning solutions
Solid understanding and working experience with Web Application design and CI/CD pipeline development
Frontend ( HTML,CSS,Javascript, React)
Backend (Python,AppScript)
