Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Tester with mandatory SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) experience to support a major HR systems enhancement project. This role will be responsible for leading and executing testing activities across configuration changes, system testing for EC modules, end-to-end testing, SIT cycles, and potentially UAT support.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on SAP testing expertise, deep understanding of ECP and EC data flows, and the ability to work closely with functional consultants, payroll SMEs, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

The Senior SAP Tester will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive test strategies and plans across SAP Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP), ensuring full coverage of configuration changes, integrations, and end‑to‑end business processes. They will execute and oversee system testing, SIT, regression cycles, and end‑to‑end scenarios, including validation of payroll results, data flows, and interface behaviour. The role includes defect management, coordination with functional consultants and technical teams, and providing hands-on leadership to testers and business SMEs. The tester will also prepare and maintain all test documentation, ensure traceability to requirements, support UAT activities, and deliver regular test status reporting and risk escalation to project leadership.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in SAP testing, including EC and ECP modules.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of:
    • Employee Central configuration testing
    • Employee Central Payroll (schemas, rules, payroll processing validation)
    • Data replication and interfaces (e.g., PTP, API-based integrations)
  • Demonstrated experience in SIT, E2E testing, and supporting UAT.
  • Solid understanding of HR/payroll business processes.
  • Experience with test management tools (HP ALM, Jira, Tricentis, etc.).
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication.
