Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end testing activities for ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
- Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned to business and technical requirements
- Execute functional, regression, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or custom applications
- Perform API, workflow, and integration testing across ServiceNow and third-party systems
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using ServiceNow ATF and/or external automation tools
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, or Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with developers and architects to validate fixes and ensure high-quality releases
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior testers and contribute to test process improvements
- Participate in release planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives within Agile delivery teams
- Ensure testing practices comply with organisational quality standards and best practices
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years focused on ServiceNow platforms
- Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, CMDB)
- Strong experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and manual testing techniques
- Experience testing integrations
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, workflows, business rules, and scripting concepts
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
