Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL workflows for batch and real-time data processing.
- Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and data operations.
- Build and manage Kafka-based streaming pipelines for real-time data ingestion.
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and product teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience with ETL flow design and implementation
- Proficiency in SQL (Oracle and PostgreSQL)
- Solid shell scripting skills (Bash or similar)
- Hands-on experience with Kafka for streaming data
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of data modeling concepts, especially Snowflake schemas
- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker)
- Familiarity with DBT (Data Build Tool)
- Version control using Git
- Knowledge on Apache Superset
