As a Senior Software Engineer on the Sydney Core Tech team within Teamfight Tactics, you will work with a diverse and passionate team of engineers in the development of internal and shared tools that empower all developers and collaborators to make the best game experiences for our players. 

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain software systems with a focus on quality, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of team practices.
  • Participate in the technical planning process
  • Write clear documentation and communicate technical details across disciplines.
  • Provide technical guidance to more junior team members
  • Participate in the on-call rotation; resolve live incidents & propose solutions in RCAs
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years experience in professional software development
  • Professional experience and proficiency with C++
  • Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, concurrency, etc.)
  • Strong communication within and across teams
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating across disciplines
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Backend Services Integration (e.g. analytics)
  • Knowledge/experience working in game development
  • Experience using Unreal Engine
  • Familiarity with Teamfight Tactics
