About the role?

Lendi Group is seeking an experienced Senior Front End Engineer that will be part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team that will be designing, developing, and deploying AI systems that drive agentic AI Automation within the property buying and owning, mortgage broking and financial services sector. You will work at the intersection of AI, data, software engineering, and financial services, building cutting-edge solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experiences. 

You will be reporting to a newly formed team within Lendi Group that is focused on AI driven initiatives, working side-by-side with a high performing, knowledgeable and fun team.  

Job Description

  • Build aesthetically pleasing, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces that empower borrowers and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and UX teams to translate design concepts into seamless, high-performing digital experiences.
  • Lead the design and delivery of significant components of the platform, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of robust and secure software within a cross-functional engineering team, supporting a strong and adaptable technology foundation.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to established coding standards and best practices.
  • Promote engineering excellence through effective planning, design, code review, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Take full accountability for the quality and reliability of the codebase, proactively identifying and resolving issues in production environments.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement through collaboration, feedback, and innovation.
  • Contribute to the integration of AI capabilities within web applications, helping to shape Lendi Group’s AI-native product experiences.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in front-end engineering, delivering complex and scalable web applications across modern browsers.
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Deep experience with React and Redux, including a strong understanding of state management, component architecture, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with advanced rxjs patterns and webpack configuration.
  • Strong understanding of design systems and atomic design principles.
  • Experience with CSS-in-JS frameworks such as Styled Components or Emotion.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with designers and UX specialists to deliver high-quality, user-focused interfaces.
  • Proven experience working with and developing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Solid understanding of web performance, scalability, and security best practices.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Broader full-stack experience, including building back-end services, microservices, databases, or APIs..
  • Demonstrated AI literacy and the ability to design and implement AI-native user experiences using Lendi Group’s internal AI platforms and tools.
