Position Overview
Autodesk's Platform team seeks a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development of its cloud data platform, which impacts millions of users globally. Based in Pune, this role offers hybrid working arrangements and reports to the Senior Manager of Software Development.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to all stages of software development: architecture, design, estimation, development, testing, and release
- Develop, debug, and build automated tests for diverse programming tasks
- Collaborate with product owners, software architects, and engineers to deliver incremental product enhancements
- Improve processes and deliverables to enhance team effectiveness
- Monitor and maintain large-scale production applications, including deployment and infrastructure
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 6+ years of production-level Java development experience with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with AWS technologies (SQS, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, Lambda)
- Proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot Framework
- Hands-on expertise with ElasticSearch/AWS OpenSearch (preferred)
- Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Experience building scalable cloud systems and REST services
- Proficiency in design patterns, SaaS application monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with tools like Blazemeter, shell scripts, multi-repo Git, and testing frameworks
