You’ll be joining our Retail Technology – Manage & Own Crew, who are part of Home Buying. We’re a close-knit team dedicated to engineering the smartest, and most efficient digital solutions for our customers.

We’re now on the search for two awesome Senior Software Engineers with are obsessed with building the best digital solutions that are scalable, secure and reliable to enhance our customer’s journey. The focus will be front end (React), or back end API’s .Net (C#) and you’ll be working full cycle.

We support our people with the flexibility to balance where work is done with at least half your time each month connecting in office. We also have many other flexible working options available including changing start and finish times, part-time arrangements and job share to name a few.

We’re interested in hearing from people who

• Have owned the end-to-end software engineering cycle, from partnering with the business for requirements, designing solutions, influencing decision making on which technologies to use, building (exceptional coding skills in C#), deploying and maintaining software solutions

• Show a genuine passion for software engineering, always looking for new technologies that offer more efficiency, stability, reliability and speed to production

• Always challenge the status quo, searching for better ways of working

• Bring their broader knowledge across full cycle engineering (i.e. Microservices, Cloud, DevOps etc.)

• Stay across the future direction of software engineering including DevSecOps, AI, Machine Learning and how the right technologies can offer the best customer experiences

• Knowledge of NextJS is an advantage

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;
