What You’ll Do

Product & Technology - Software Engineering & IT develops and maintains Telstra's software and IT systems, working on some really cutting-edge technologies.

This position is aligned with the vision to build the Salesforce team to support the retail prospect to order value chain at Telstra to develop a core competency around strategic salesforce capability for Telstra and bringing the intellectual property internal to Telstra.

As a Salesforce Developer, you will contribute to solutions that span across multiple Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Analytics, Social, Communities) and include integration and authentication across systems.

This individual will apply proven industry and technology experience as well as communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to issues related to design, development, and deployment of mission-critical CRM systems with a focus on quality application development and delivery.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree level IT qualifications in Software or Systems Engineering

  • 2-4 years’ experience as a Salesforce developer, or similar roles

  • Salesforce Certifications essential

Demonstrated experience in the following

  • Deep understand and experience in developing Salesforce and building on force.com.

  • Understanding of all cloud offerings in the market and ability to discuss cloud architectures

  • A good understanding of the security processes, standards & issues involved in multi-tier, multi-tenant web applications

  • Development experience of Web Services is desirable

  • Extensive experience in developing & configuration SFDC Apex classes, Visualforce pages, workflows, Lightning components and LWC

Highly desirable

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of XML, JSON and other data interchange formats is desirable

  • Knowledge of Java , HTML5 , JQuery and other web technologies is desirable

  • Strong development (coding), debugging, tuning skills.

  • Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills
