Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Proficiency in Python for backend development.
- Strong experience with React.js for frontend development.
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience with Oracle databases.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Oracle Cloud Platform (OCP).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Version control using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET).
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or related field.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and React.js.
- Build and optimize backend services and APIs with Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
- Develop and maintain SQL and Oracle database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Deploy and manage applications on Azure and/or Oracle Cloud Platform.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full stack.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology evaluations.
