The role:
At ClickView, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of video-driven learning for millions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll work at the front of streaming technology - designing, building, and deploying solutions that directly impact students and educators around the world. You’ll architect robust, scalable systems that deliver ultra-fast, seamless video experiences while collaborating with talented peers in an agile, creative environment.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end features, from ideation to production, fuelling growth in both our Product and Platform teams. Whether you’re passionate about elevating customer-facing interfaces or tackling deep technical challenges, you’ll have the autonomy and trust to drive innovation. At ClickView, you’ll use (but never be limited by) a modern stack including React, Typescript, C#/.NET, and you’ll always be encouraged to experiment with new tools that raise the bar for quality and reliability.
We’re looking for someone who is smart, personable, friendly, and communicates complex ideas clearly and concisely within cross-functional teams. You live and breathe best practices in software engineering, thrive on solving challenging problems with elegant solutions, and are comfortable working in a variety of languages. Requirements:
- Solid understanding of JS/HTML/CSS fundamentals
- 5 years+ experience with React and Typescript
- Knowledge of SPA and experience with large frontend application architectures and patterns
- Experience contributing to frontend system design and architecture decisions across large-scale applications
- Understanding of browser storage technologies (Cookies, Local/Session storage)
- Strong understanding of web + security fundamentals (HTTP/AJAX/REST/Sockets/XSS/CORS etc)
- Knowledge of version control (GIT)
- Ability to communicate and work on projects autonomously or as part of a team
- Experience working cross-functionally and collaboratively with other teams
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Excellent problem solving skills
- A growth mindset with the desire to continue learning and developing
