Role Description

Our team collaborates with our Customers and Partners during the project cycle to share their extensive knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Combined with their experience in technical architecture, enterprise integration, and business solution implementation, they directly drive toward the best possible solutions. They paint a solution vision, architect the system and provide guidance during the implementation. Based on seniority they are involved in the building of solutions (configuration) / or leading diverse teams of resources in delivery or in strategic aspects:
Marketing Cloud Solution Architects can work on smaller single engagements such as Personalization or CDP, and also take full ownership of the design and the architecture of a larger Marketing Cloud solution working alongside other Salesforce team members representing different products

Through our extended onboarding program of formal certification, internal training, knowledge transfer, hands on experience and closely working with other architects, if not already, you will become a Salesforce Marketing Cloud expert at the forefront of our Architecture offerings, delivering outstanding customer success.

To be successful in the role you:
  • Will have complete solution ownership from requirements gathering to solution delivery working with variety of technical and non-technical people
  • Create, lead and present business requirements document that aligns a customer’s business needs to Salesforce Marketing Cloud & associated products
  • Present high-level overviews of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and integration capabilities, conduct solution presentations
  • For customers you're working with, at times, you can be asked by the Go-To-Market Team about whether or not a product could be a good fit for the customer, at which point you're expected to answer with integrity towards the customers current maturity level and targeted outcomes/results
Basic Requirements
  • Demonstrable customer-facing consulting experience of solution design & technical delivery of Software-As-A-Service platforms
  • Experience leading customer facing discovery sessions to conceptualise and design sophisticated business solutions
  • Experience detailing customer problems and software solutions using business requirement document(s), wireframes, diagrams, workflows and mockups
  • Excellent presentation and verbal skills with technical, non-technical, end-user, and executive audiences
  • A passion for digital marketing and exciting customers
  • Available to travel regionally depending on customer needs
Preferred Requirements
  • Familiarity with data architecture/schema, including relational data models and SQL syntax, documentation of data models, and data flows
  • Familiarity with systems integrations such as CRM, Content Management, POS/Commerce, or Web Analytics
  • Familiarity with HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Past experience with writing light-weight MS SQL and AMPscript preferred
  • A good understanding of SOAP APIs, REST APIs and integration architectures
  • Excellent presentation and verbal skills with technical, non-technical, end-user, and executive audiences
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other digital marketing platforms
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud implementations, with 2+ years direct experience on the platform
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications and consulting experience are strongly recommended
  • Marketing Cloud certifications strongly preferred (Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant). Similar certifications against other MAPs a plus (IBM/Unica, SAS, Adobe, Oracle, Teradata)
  • Related experience with Salesforce CRM (Sales, Service, Community) preferred
  • Understanding of sales process and methodologies preferred
