As part of our ongoing digital transformation, the Resmed Supply Chain is evolving to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and increase capacity.

We are seeking a Senior Solution Designer to support the transition within the Product Lifecycle Management space across our Product Development and Quality Assurance organizations. This role resides within the Global Technology Solutions (GTS) team and will serve as a vital bridge between technical and functional teams.

The primary role of Solution Designer in the Oracle space is to analyse, design, develops and maintain IT applications based on business requirements across all business functionalities.

Let’s talk about Responsibilities

 

 

  • Design and implement technical solutions to support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes within regulated product development and quality assurance environments, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, and EU MDR standards.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to translate requirements, user stories, and process definitions into robust technical specifications and system configurations.

  • Partner with enterprise and solution architects to ensure PLM solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles and technology roadmaps.

  • Lead the technical aspects of solution design workshops, producing system models, data flows, and integration patterns to support end-to-end PLM processes.

  • Configure, prototype, and validate PLM and related system components (including integrations with ERP, MES, and analytics platforms) to ensure they meet functional and compliance needs.

  • Contribute to software validation activities by producing and reviewing technical documentation, ensuring requirements traceability and audit readiness.

  • Assess technical risks related to solution architecture and system changes, and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure that technical solutions support usability, maintainability, and adoption across high-compliance manufacturing and quality operations.

  • Collaborate with external vendors, system integrators, and validation consultants to deliver fit-for-purpose, compliant PLM technology solutions.

  • Stay current with emerging PLM technologies and industry best practices, recommending enhancements that improve efficiency and business value.

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience

Required (Qualifications/experiences that are an absolute must for the position)

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 3 years working in an Agile environment and complex technology application implementation across business process analysis, requirements analysis and solution design.

  • Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies and ways of working

    ·      

  • Proficient domain knowledge in Product Development space

    Able to grasp and adapt to/embrace new industry trends that can lead to new business opportunities and system innovations.

  • Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to the targeted audience.

  • Experience working with Enterprise Systems

  • Ability to facilitate the identification and documentation of business and process requirements.

  • Experience with user story decomposition, mapping and documentation.

  • Proficiency in solving unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.

Preferrred

  • Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management and relevant technologies used in the Supply Chain and Manufacturing domains

  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP system (EBS/Fusion)

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing systems, e.g. Oracle MES

  • Working knowledge of XML, FTP, ETL, APIs and web services.

  • Multiple system integration experience

  • Knowledge on Kafka, Boomi and others integrations tools
