The role:

As we accelerate the growth of our Sustainability practice, we invite visionary leaders to shape the future of end-to-end sustainability solutions across all stages of the real estate lifecycle – from site selection to decarbonisation to green lease negotiation.

This is a pivotal and highly visible leadership opportunity.

This is an exciting opportunity to be the key sustainability partner to one of Australia's top-tier corporations, based in the Sydney CBD, acting as a senior extension of their internal sustainability team. You will be entrusted with delivering best-in-class sustainability programs, strategically identifying those initiatives that will amplify impact across the client's extensive property portfolio.

Snapshot of the roles:

  • Managing a dedicated 4-person team to deliver the sustainability scope for a top-tier corporate client, with particular focus on environmental reporting and energy reduction
  • Leveraging environmental data to identify and model benefits of initiatives against portfolio baseline
  • Owning and improving a multi-faceted sustainability program including energy, waste and water optimization
  • Identifying environmental improvement opportunities and preparing business cases
  • Meeting client sustainability objectives and relevant KPIs

Requirements:

  • University degree or relevant experience in building operations optimization
  • 10+ years of experience in sustainable operations of commercial buildings
  • Experience in large multi-dimensional organizations
  • Passion for working towards a sustainable future
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities with clients and stakeholders
