About the role

We are seeking an experienced tax professional to manage the Group's external tax engagements from end to end.  The role will coordinate multiple tax consultants, drive information requests across the business, and ensure all workstreams, deadlines and deliverables remain on track.

Responsibility

  • Manage multiple tax compliance and advisory engagements with external consultants.
  • Act as the central coordination point between external advisers and internal stakeholders.
  • Take responsibility for information requests, identify the right internal owners, follow up outstanding items and drive them through to completion.
  • Maintain clear visibility over engagement status, deadlines, open questions and deliverables.
  • Review information provided to advisers for completeness and consistency, and coordinate internal review of adviser outputs.
  • Support tax compliance and project work across domestic and international matters.
  • Assist with transfer pricing, international tax, Significant Global Entity (SGE), multinational enterprise (MNE) and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) workstreams where relevant.
  • Improve recurring tax information collection, documentation and engagement processes.

Requirements
  • Big 4 / Second-tier tax experience preferred.
  • Senior Accountant / Senior Consultant level or above.
  • Strong experience managing multiple tax engagements, projects and stakeholder groups simultaneously.
  • Project-based tax experience is strongly preferred, particularly across international tax, transfer pricing or cross-border matters.
  • Experience with SGE, MNE and CbCR requirements would be highly regarded.
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian tax requirements is highly appreciated, with broader international tax exposure considered a significant advantage.
  • CA, CPA or CTA qualifications preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Chinese/Mandarin fluency is appreciated.
  • Strong stakeholder management, organisation and communication skills.
  • Highly proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable driving information requests across the business.
