Job Description

About the role 

Sydney Airport is Australia’s busiest and most connected international gateway, and we’re on a mission to deliver world-class passenger experiences through service, efficiency, and innovation. As part of our Group Operations team—the largest and most influential at SYD—you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the technology that supports our corporate systems and drives seamless airport operations. 
 
We’re seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to join our Corporate Systems team on a 12-Month Max Term Contract. This is a unique opportunity to work across critical platforms like Salesforce CRM, OpenText, and SAP SuccessFactors, providing expert support and integration consultancy. In this role, you will have the opportunity to… 
 

  • Provide expert support across key corporate platforms including Salesforce, SAP SuccessFactors, and OpenText. 

  • Deliver technical advice and solutions aligned with business priorities and system architecture standards. 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve issues and implement enhancements. 

  • Represent the Corporate Systems team in projects, ensuring smooth service transitions and support readiness. 

  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for system improvements. 

  • Manage user access and system security in line with Technology policies and procedures. 

  • Monitor and resolve application issues via the Technology Service Desk, including bug fixes, upgrades, and custom development. 

  • Train system users and support adoption of new processes and technologies. 

  • Participate in the Technology on-call roster to support resolution of critical incidents outside business hours. 

About you 
 

  • You hold a tertiary qualification in Technology or Business with a strong tech focus. 

  • You bring extensive experience in CRM, HR, and document management systems—Salesforce expertise is highly regarded. 

  • You’re skilled in full lifecycle systems analysis, implementation, and support. 

  • You have strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. 

  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and can work independently or collaboratively. 

  • You’re a proactive problem solver with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation. 

  • You have a solid understanding of SaaS and on-premise systems, and how they integrate with business processes. 

  • You’re confident managing incidents, changes, and problem tasks in a structured support environment. 

  • You build strong relationships across teams and influence outcomes through collaboration and credibility.
