About the team
Opportunity for an experienced senior test analyst to be responsible for driving testing outcomes within the Enterprise Testing Services team. You will be part of a program that will modernise infrastructure and migrate all applications that we use daily to provide a cohesive, more integrated user experience which will support RBA’s strategic platform.
As part of this role, you will strongly focus on enterprise migration testing to support delivery of the program. The role requires taking an active part in all testing related activities including test planning and execution, test automation, providing testing support and maintaining and improving test processes, tooling, and outputs, whilst working in the team.
About the role
Senior Test analyst with hands-on functional experience in migration testing who understands various test phases and can apply QA processes in the migration testing. The ideal candidate should be an adaptive learner, understand the existing application landscape and start contributing positively to the project.
Develop and execute test plans and cases for applications migration from one on-premises environment to another
Validate system compatibility, data integrity, and application functionality post-migration
Perform functional, non-functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure seamless transition
Conduct performance and security testing to identify potential risks in the new infrastructure
Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and business teams to resolve migration-related defects
Automate test scripts for validation of migrated components where applicable is desirable
Monitor and report on test progress, defects, and risks, ensuring alignment with project timelines
Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards during migration testing
Provide support during cutover, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
Document test results, defects, and lessons learned for continuous improvement
About you
In-depth functional testing experience in a migration project as a Senior Test Analyst
Experience with performance and security testing tools
Expertise with Test management tools such as JIRA, QMETRY, and Confluence or similar tools
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve migration-related issues
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience in working in Agile or hybrid project environments
Experienced in co-ordination with multiple vendors, application owners, testing teams & business stakeholders for technical testing & UAT activities
