Overview

As a Senior Test Analyst within the Payroll & HR stream, you’ll validate SAP S/4HANA Payroll and SuccessFactors Employee Central processes, including parallel payroll testing and accessibility compliance, across an SAP S/4HANA landscape. Working within a distributed onshore/offshore delivery model, you’ll design and execute tests across payroll processing, core HR data, and UX/accessibility functions to ensure quality outcomes ahead of go-live, collaborating closely with functional teams throughout the testing cycle.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Design, script, and execute test cases across S/4HANA Payroll and SuccessFactors Employee Central functions within SAP S/4HANA.
  • Validate end-to-end payroll processing, including gross-to-net calculations, retroactive changes, and off-cycle payments.
  • Execute parallel payroll testing to validate legacy (ECC) payroll results against S/4HANA Payroll outputs.
  • Validate SuccessFactors Employee Central core HR processes, including employee lifecycle, organisational management, and workflows.
  • Test UX and accessibility compliance against WCAG standards across HR self-service interfaces.
  • Verify HR and payroll master data — employee records, pay elements, and organisational structures — for accuracy and consistency.
  • Validate integration points between Payroll, SuccessFactors, and adjacent SAP streams.
  • Develop and maintain traceability between business requirements, test cases, and defects to ensure full test coverage.
  • Manage defects end to end using SAP CALM, Jira, and Quality Centre.
  • Prepare and maintain test data across the Payroll & HR stream.
  • Lead and support System Integration Testing (SIT) activities.
  • Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
  • Utilise the SAP CALM test suite throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams, aligning to AEST for overlap and communication.
  • Report on test progress, coverage, and quality while adapting to changing priorities.
