A Day in the LifeAn exciting opportunity for a Senior Transport Analyst to join a high performing, dedicated and highly respected ANZ Deliver Operations Team. Be a part of a company that thinks differently to solve problems, make progress, and deliver meaningful innovations.
As Senior Transport Analyst, you will own the support, monitoring, analysis, interpretation and execution of the day-to-day operational aspects of our Transport related processes and relationships with our 3rd party transport service providers. The Senior Transport Analyst will identify cost effective and operational efficient opportunities to drive performance improvement and reduce costs. In joining the Medtronic Deliver Operations team as a Transport Analyst you will be joining a team, where putting the patient first is central to all we do.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Manage all aspects of Australia/New Zealand domestic & international delivery to ensure service level targets are achieved and costs are controlled.
Host Monthly Business Review Meetings with transport partners for domestic and international freight.
ANZ project lead for our global TMS deployment.
Co-ordinate with vendors and internal finance team to ensure on time payment and timely resolution of invoice disputes.
Provide monthly accrual amounts for freight spend, with ownership to achieve freight AOP.
Support budgeting and forecasting alongside Finance and Deliver Operations Manager.
Lead logistics projects focused on improving service levels and reducing transport costs.
Owner and lead of freight projects identified by the Deliver team, to ensure programmatic savings targets achieved.
RFP lead for domestic and international transportation including developing reference documents stipulating supplier requirements, analysis of submissions and onboarding of suppliers’ activities.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
High School Diploma, Vocational diploma, or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Logistics
Microsoft Excel – advanced data analysis, reporting, and operational tracking.
Power BI – performance dashboards and analytics.
SAP – order management, system troubleshooting, and reporting.
Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
Project Management experience
Lean six sigma certifications desirable
Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
