About the role
We’re seeking a Senior Treasury Project Analyst to support the West Gate Tunnel (WGT) project and contribute to Treasury’s key priority across the broader business for the second half of the year.
As a Senior Treasury Project Analyst on a 6-month contract, you will play a key role in delivering Treasury’s responsibilities within the WGT project. You’ll work closely with the Project team, Finance, Accounts Payable, and ERP teams to ensure timely and effective outcomes that align with business needs. You’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work.
Day-to-day, you will:
Be the Treasury representative and support Program and Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and reporting
Track and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests
Deliver Treasury’s outstanding tasks as part of the second and final phase of project delivery, while providing advisory support across the group—including to Customer, Finance, and banking-related initiatives.
Update all Treasury documentation related to WGT, including training and procedures
Finalise WGT tunnel bank account set-up and integrate into the current and/or new sweep structure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and our external banking partner to ensure timely delivery of the final milestones
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a large enterprise environment, financial services, Corporate Treasury or Banking environment.
Experience in a Senior project analyst or Treasury role, ideally within large-scale transformation programs is highly regarded
Problem-solving skills, with the proven ability to think analytically as well as strategically in the implementation of business objectives
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience in delivering a high standard of customer service.
Proficiency in project tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar
Exceptional analytical abilities, attention to detail and ability to learn new concepts and systems quickly
Proven ability to establish priorities, work to strict timelines, autonomously or as part of a team.
