About the role

We’re seeking a Senior Treasury Project Analyst to support the West Gate Tunnel (WGT) project and contribute to Treasury’s key priority across the broader business for the second half of the year.

As a Senior Treasury Project Analyst on a 6-month contract, you will play a key role in delivering Treasury’s responsibilities within the WGT project. • Track and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests

  • Deliver Treasury’s outstanding tasks as part of the second and final phase of project delivery, while providing advisory support across the group—including to Customer, Finance, and banking-related initiatives.

  • Update all Treasury documentation related to WGT, including training and procedures

  • Finalise WGT tunnel bank account set-up and integrate into the current and/or new sweep structure

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and our external banking partner to ensure timely delivery of the final milestones

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a large enterprise environment, financial services, Corporate Treasury or Banking environment.

  • Experience in a Senior project analyst or Treasury role, ideally within large-scale transformation programs is highly regarded

  • Problem-solving skills, with the proven ability to think analytically as well as strategically in the implementation of business objectives

  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience in delivering a high standard of customer service.

  • Proficiency in project tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar

  • Exceptional analytical abilities, attention to detail and ability to learn new concepts and systems quickly

  • Proven ability to establish priorities, work to strict timelines, autonomously or as part of a team.

If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.

With a career at Transurban, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits, including:

  • A range of flexible working options

  • Learning and development opportunities to support your career interests

  • Health and wellbeing support—access to Headspace and our EAP program, wellness facilities, and more

  • Social activities and groups

We offer a range of flexible working and leave options, so you can balance your work and life commitments and interests. Have a conversation with us about how this could work for you.
