We are seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Manager to join the Treasury team at Lendlease, supporting our Development Australia business with funding strategy, financial risk management, and key financing activities for major development projects.
As Senior Treasury Manager, Development Australia, you will be responsible for developing, executing and managing financing strategies that support the success of Lendlease’s Development projects across Australia. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and external financiers to optimise financial outcomes to drive best‑practice funding solutions within agreed governance frameworks.
You will also contribute to the direction, performance and culture of the broader Treasury team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop debt financing and financial risk management plans for projects within the Development Australia portfolio.
Lead the execution of financing transactions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and growth objectives.
Partner with development teams to prepare materials and insights for financiers.
Support legal, finance, tax and project delivery teams in the ongoing management of debt-related activities.
Maintain and strengthen key banking relationships in line with Lendlease’s Group bank relationship strategy.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal customers and stakeholders within the Development business.
Contribute to broader Lendlease Treasury initiatives and continuous improvement.
About You:
Qualifications in economics, finance, commerce or finance law; postgraduate studies (MBA, Master of Applied Finance) highly regarded.
Strong experience in corporate treasury, banking or financial institutions with real estate sector expertise.
Proven capability in leading and executing debt financing transactions.
Strong market relationships and a well‑developed professional network.
Exceptional negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, simplify complexity and communicate with clarity.
