Role OverviewAs an SEO Director within Earned Media, you will be responsible for leading GEO & SEO strategy across enterprise-level clients, ensuring alignment with broader organic search, content marketing, and digital PR initiatives. You will own SEO roadmaps, mentor teams, and drive strategic innovation, ensuring our Earned Media capability continues to deliver industry-leading results.

ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & SEO ExcellenceDefine and own GEO & SEO strategies across key client accounts, ensuring best-in-class technical, content, and authority-building approaches.
Act as the primary strategic consultant for clients, providing high-level GEO & SEO insights and driving measurable growth.
Own local advocacy and knowledge for our GEO proprietary tech solutions.
Collaborate closely with Content, Digital PR, and Paid Media teams to ensure a fully integrated Earned Media strategy.
Own and evolve GEO & SEO measurement frameworks, leveraging tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and enterprise SEO platforms.
Maintain a forward-thinking approach, identifying and implementing emerging SEO innovations, such as AI-driven content optimization, automation, and data science applications.
Oversee the operational delivery of SEO programs, ensuring seamless execution across technical SEO, content marketing, and link-building initiatives.
Take ownership of client performance KPIs, ensuring that teams deliver against agreed goals while maintaining profitability.
Set the standard for internal communication and process optimization, ensuring structured documentation, efficient workflows, and actionable insights.
Drive continuous improvement by proactively assessing internal SEO methodologies and ways of working to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage, mentor, and develop Senior SEO Managers and SEO Managers, ensuring professional growth and a strong talent pipeline within the Earned Media team.
Identify and address knowledge gaps within the team by implementing structured training programs, workshops, and peer-to-peer learning initiatives.
Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, ensuring that SEO remains at the cutting edge of digital marketing.
Actively contribute to the global SEO community within Jellyfish, leading internal knowledge-sharing and thought leadership initiatives.

Extensive experience in enterprise-level SEO strategy and execution, with a proven track record of delivering significant organic growth.
Deep knowledge of technical SEO, structured data, JavaScript frameworks, and web performance optimization.
Advanced expertise in SEO analytics, automation, and reporting, with proficiency in GA4, Adobe Analytics, Looker Studio, and enterprise SEO platforms.
Strong understanding of digital PR, content marketing, and authority-building strategies, ensuring a holistic Earned Media approach.
Ability to translate complex SEO insights into executive-level recommendations and strategic roadmaps.
