About the Role
The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for the strategic development, maintenance, and enhancement of the ServiceNow platform to support the organization’s business objectives.
Reporting to the Head of IT Operations & Service Delivery, this role ensures the platform is aligned with best practices and maximizes its capabilities, particularly in supporting ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Self Service, and Knowledge Management.
We are open to the successful candidate being based in any major Australian city (Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney) and provide a hybrid working environment.
Key Responsibilities
The ServiceNow Developer will identify and implement opportunities to improve the platform across departments, manage the ServiceNow roadmap, and ensure alignment with business strategy and governance. The role involves overseeing technical governance, managing platform upgrades, collaborating with stakeholders and vendors, and working closely with the Cyber Security team to maintain a secure and effective platform.
Key Requirements
Tertiary qualification in IT or a related field
Certified ServiceNow System Administrator and Implementation Specialist
At least five years’ experience in ServiceNow development
Strong technical skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Glide Scripting, and ServiceNow ITSM applications are required
Experience in Agile methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
