Overview
At the PGA TOUR Superstore, we are always looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible individuals who share a passion for transforming our business and growing the game, by inspiring people through golf and tennis. These are still the same goals when opening a new store or remodeling an existing location.
Position Summary
Reports directly to the Set Team Manager, while on assignment, and works with other store Set Team Associates, to ensure that the store is open, or the remodel is complete on time and is ready for the customer experience that we provide throughout the country.
While not on assignment, the Set Team Associate will report to the District Manager of their home market. They may be asked to fill a variety of roles at any location in their home market.
Set Team Associates may on occasion be asked to travel out of their market to assist other locations as need when not on assignment.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Must be able to lift at least 40lbs
- Must be able to work in different environments. IE: Summer heat and winter cold
- Must be able to work flexible hours. IE: Early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
- Must be able to use the handheld scanners, zebra label makers, IPADS and store computers.
- Must be able to work in all departments, doing all tasks within those departments.
- Must have knowledge in Merchandising Standards and how to execute those standards within a timely manner in all departments.
- Must be a good listener.
- Must be able to work in a group environment as well as independently.
- Must be ok with being gone from your home location for 4-6 weeks at a time.
- Must be willing to work multiple assignments a year, possibly resulting being on the road 40+weeks a year.
- Must be ok with a roommate situation while being on a set team.
