Job Description

As an SFCC Architect within our consulting practice, you will join a high-caliber team of technologists dedicated to transforming the retail landscape. We have fully embraced the SFCC platform and SFRA, operating within a mature DevOps culture where you are empowered to challenge the status quo and deliver code that truly "does differently."

This is a pivotal, client-facing leadership role. You won’t just be executing tasks; you’ll be the bridge between technical excellence and business vision. You will architect end-to-end user journeys, integrate complex 3rd-party systems, and optimize for global scalability. Whether you are formulating technical designs, creating PoCs for emerging tech, or leading a squad through a high-pressure sprint, you are a key driver of our collective success.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect & Design: Lead the technical discovery and architectural design of complex SFCC implementations, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and performant.

  • Lead with Craftsmanship: Deliver high-quality, tested, and well-documented code while mentoring developers to uphold the same standards.

  • Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating business requirements into robust technical roadmaps.

  • Champion Excellence: Refine our Agile processes, participate in strategic tool selection, and ensure our team stays at the forefront of the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Innovate: Create proofs-of-concept for emerging technologies to keep our clients ahead of the digital curve.

Qualifications

You are a seasoned professional who views code as a craft and consulting as an opportunity to solve real-world problems. You possess the technical authority to guide clients through complex digital transformations.

Your Technical Expertise:

  • SFCC Mastery: Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud development, configurations, and a deep mastery of SFRA.

  • The JS Ecosystem: Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js, jQuery, and AJAX, with a solid understanding of strategy patterns and functional programming.

  • Front-End Precision: Expertise in Responsive Web Design, CSS Pre-processors (SASS/LESS), and page optimization, with a strict commitment to WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

  • Engineering Excellence: Proven ability to design and implement unit, integration, and performance tests for both APIs and UI components.

  • Modern Workflow: Expert-level knowledge of Git, CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Jenkins), and JIRA within Agile environments.

Advantageous Extras:

  • Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Architect or Developer certifications.

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing/Service Cloud, AWS/GCP, or MuleSoft.
