Role: Site Contracts Negotiator

Location: Sydney (hybrid)

We are currently seeking a Site Contracts Negotiator to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Site Contracts Negotiator at ICON, you will support the review and negotiation of clinical trial agreements and budgets under the guidance of senior colleagues. You will help ensure contracts are executed accurately and efficiently to support timely study start-up. You will be working from the ICON office in Sydney, with flexibility to work from home (hybrid model).

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Drafting and reviewing site contracts using approved templates, under supervision from senior team members or leads.
  • Supporting contract and budget negotiations with sites, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Tracking contract status, timelines, and key milestones in designated systems and trackers.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to gather required information and align on contract terms.
  • Ensuring contract documentation is complete, accurate, and filed in accordance with SOPs.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the site contracts team.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, business, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Initial experience in contracts, legal support, clinical research, or administration is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of contract terms and interest in developing negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with ability to manage multiple documents and timelines.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to learn site contracting processes, systems, and industry requirements.
