Job Description

The Project & Opportunity:

For one of our Sydney based projects, we are looking for a Site Engineer to assist in the achievement of the required objectives of the the project

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor key construction requirements and implement prompt corrective action if required, to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications

  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers work

  • Manage the verification of conformance for works under control

  • Maintain all relevant project document control and records

  • Manage temporary works design and ensuring all relevant approvals are obtained

  • Ensure all works are controlled through approved inspection and test plans.

  • Ensure all subcontractors have been advised of the relevant Quality Control requirements and applicable standards

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or similar (Essential)

  • General Construction Induction (White Card) (Essential)

  • Member of Institution of Engineers Australia (IEAust) or Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ) (Desirable)

  • 18+ months experience in Graduate / Site Engineer role (Essential)

  • Experience working in the construction industry (Desirable)

The salary for this position is $90,000-$100,000.
