Design and implement Visual-Inertial SLAM pipelines, dynamic obstacle avoidance, and predictive path planning. Optimize navigation algorithms for low-compute edge deployment and deploy autonomous navigation on real robotic platforms.
We are seeking a skilled SLAM Architect to drive the development of advanced autonomous navigation systems. This role involves creating innovative solutions for Visual-Inertial SLAM, dynamic obstacle avoidance, and path planning to enhance our robotic platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop robust Visual-Inertial SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) pipelines.
- Implement dynamic obstacle avoidance and predictive path planning.
- Optimize algorithms for low-compute edge deployment on the robot.
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of state estimation, Kalman filters, and factor graphs.
- Experience with ROS2/Nav2 and point cloud processing (PCL).
- Proven track record of deploying autonomous navigation in real-world settings.
