About moomoo:
Stock broking firm Moomoo Australia and New Zealand operates the moomoo platform, Australia's most downloaded trading app two-years running. Our AI-powered investment platform integrates global trading, up-to-date news, real-time market data, and an active trading community. It offers investors access to securities across the Australian, United States and Hong Kong markets. Moomoo Securities Australia is owned by Futu Holdings, a global fintech operation listed on the Nasdaq. It operates in eight world markets.
About this role:
We are looking for a strategic, market-savvy social media and content manager to join our high-performing marketing team in Sydney. In this role you will be a decisive voice in our content creation, helping us connect the power of our trading platform with the goals of everyday local investors. You will also develop our social media and external community channel strategy, boosting our brand profile and audience engagement.

This is more than a content execution role, this is an opportunity to act as a strategic brand custodian – localising global campaigns and producing diverse best-practice content that builds brand trust  – driving growth across our external channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and execute a holistic organic and paid social media strategy to drive audience growth and engagement.
  • Adapt, localise and advise on global content to fit the nuance of the Australian and New Zealand market while upholding strict guidelines and best practice.
  • Advise local operations on communication best practices and interface seamlessly with both local leadership and global HQ.
  • Actively monitor and engage with our users and audiences across external channels to build an active, loyal community.
  • In your first 12 months, your mandate will be clear: elevate our content quality and audience engagement to boost brand credibility and awareness.

Requirements
  • At least three to five years of dedicated experience in social media and content marketing. Knowing how to navigate a complex, global organisation is highly valued.
  • A solid foundational understanding of financial markets. (Experience within financial services, fintech, or brokerage platforms is a plus.)
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills are a given. Experience managing active communities and social media channels is essential. Video and podcast production skills, or a willingness to learn, are highly desirable.
  • An understanding of (or willingness to quickly learn) how to deliver engaging creative content within strict local compliance frameworks.
  • Degree in marketing, arts, communications or a related field.

To help us speed up our review, please ensure your application highlights your experience with social media strategy and any familiarity you have with the financial markets.

Benefits
  • Lead the social media strategy and play an essential role in the content output of a global fintech, now Australia’s most downloaded trading platform.
  • Work alongside a cohesive, friendly, and high-performing local team.
  • Competitive salary and bi-annual bonus structure, support for ongoing training, generous contribution to private healthcare and gym membership.
