We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Strategist to own the strategy, storytelling, and day-to-day execution of organic content and community engagement across Airtasker and Oneflare. You’ll bring our brand stories to life, champion our Taskers and customers, and grow our reach across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and beyond.

What you'll do:
  • Own the strategy – Build and execute bold, authentic content and community plans that ladder up to brand and business goals.

  • Create for impact – Plan, write, film, and edit engaging short- and long-form content that feels native to each platform.

  • Tell real stories – Shine a light on the weird, wonderful, and everyday tasks that happen on Airtasker and Oneflare.

  • Be the voice – Engage in comment threads, trending convos, and creator collabs that fuel brand love.

  • Drive performance – Set KPIs, report on impact, and work closely with our Paid team to amplify content that’s working.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally – Work with marketing, product, partnerships, and PR to build connected campaigns and brand moments.

  • Build systems, not chaos – Create easy-to-use frameworks for content planning, reporting, and scaling across markets.

We'd love to hear from you if you tick some of these boxes:
  • You’re a hybrid of strategist, creator, and community-builder who knows how to make content that actually works on social. You’ve got an eye for storytelling, a knack for editing, and the data chops to track what’s resonating

  • 3–5 years of experience managing organic social for consumer brands

  • Confident in content creation: filming, editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva), and repurposing for multiple formats

  • Deep understanding of what performs on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube

  • Track record of growing social audiences and improving engagement

  • Comfortable on-camera or directing others - you're not afraid to get scrappy

  • Able to manage calendars, stakeholders, and shifting priorities with ease

  • A passion for storytelling, trends, and community - and a sharp sense of humour never hurts!
