About the role:

As we move into our next chapter of growth, we're scaling up our Marketing team - and we’re on the lookout for a strategic, customer-obsessed Social Media Manager to help lead the charge.

The Social Media Manager drives brand growth across all social channels, leading strategy and execution to engage both Homeowners and Tradies and support overall business success.

How you will add value:

  • Drive growth of the hipages brand with Homeowners and Tradies through impactful, data-driven social media activities
  • Develop and execute social media strategy in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies
  • Act as the brand voice by actively engaging with audiences and sparking conversations online
  • Manage all hipages social media accounts across platforms
  • Own and maintain the content calendar, including both organic and paid content
  • Generate creative ideas and produce engaging content, such as short-form, long-form and reel-style videos
  • Film and edit content internally and/or coordinate with third-party partners
  • Conduct interviews with Tradies and Homeowners to showcase authentic stories
  • Write creative briefs and provide feedback to creative teams
  • Write copy and schedule posts for social media channels
  • Manage and optimise paid social media campaigns with support from the Performance team
  • Track, report on and analyse campaign performance and key learnings
  • Manage online communities and engage with key stakeholders to foster a positive brand presence
  • Collaborate closely with Brand, Marketing Strategy & Go To Market, Performance and Customer Marketing teams to ensure social media efforts align with wider business goals

About you:

  • A degree in marketing, media, communications, business or similar (preferred)
  • 3-4 years of experience running successful social media strategies
  • Skilled at creating and managing engaging content across platforms
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their best practices
  • Strong sense of online trends and how to tap into them
  • Experience managing paid campaigns, including budgets and performance tracking
  • Proficient with social media tools for analytics, scheduling and community management
  • Strong project and campaign management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Confident in video production, photography and editing
  • SEO knowledge to optimise content for visibility
  • Passion for building and engaging online communities
