Key Responsibilities
- Architecture Leadership
- Define and lead system refactoring strategies with a focus on
Resilience, Continuous Delivery, and Observability - Collaborate with Cloud Architects to align infrastructure and application architecture
- Define and lead system refactoring strategies with a focus on
- Legacy Modernization
- Lead incremental migration from monolith to MSA
- Redesign module boundaries, APIs, and domain models
- Technical Leadership
- Drive code reviews, design decisions, and engineering standards
- Establish development guidelines and architectural principles
- Cloud-native Transformation
- Re-architect core backend systems into MSA / Cloud-native architecture
- Design scalable, event-driven systems
- Engineering Excellence
- Define SLA/SLO and establish service quality metrics
- Make architectural decisions considering performance, cost, and security
- Technology Strategy
- Lead PoCs for new technologies and drive adoption
- Contribute to long-term technical roadmap for scalable organization growth
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in backend engineering and software architecture
- Hands-on experience in designing and building scalable systems
- Proven experience with large-scale or mission-critical systems
- Strong understanding of Cloud-native architecture
(Resilience, Scalability, CI/CD, Observability) - Deep knowledge of domain modeling and consistency/transaction design
- Experience with RESTful API and gRPC-based service communication
- Experience in technical leadership or mentoring
- Strong collaboration and code review culture experience
Preferred Qualification
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenStack, or similar environments
- Experience with Public Cloud and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- Experience applying DDD or Clean Architecture
- Collaboration with DevOps / Cloud teams (CD pipelines, monitoring, etc.)
- Experience leading teams or projects
