Position: Software Developer

Qualification: Experience designing and developing in C#/.NET framework, UI, and Cloud technologies

Employment Type: Full Time Permanent

About the Role

As a part of this function, the R&D Technology and Execution team designs, develops, and maintains software products and solutions, including the underlying systems and architecture. Responsible for delivering world-class products and solutions using established standards and processes in collaboration with other R&D functions.

We provide regular training and development for our teams to help them grow their knowledge and expertise. Being a large software development group, there are excellent career opportunities to progress into senior technical positions or management roles.

We are looking for a talented developer with the skills and passion to successfully implement complex technical solution to join our Cloud team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Create SaaS solutions integrated with leading SCADA products for key market segments.

  • Work with the Product Owner, stakeholders, and the Scrum Team to understand, define, and implement solution requirements in an Azure Cloud environment.

  • Participate in Scrum meetings with other team members, including sprint planning and estimating, backlog refinement, daily Scrum meetings, sprint retrospectives, and sprint reviews.

  • Ensure your code is fully reviewed, unit tested, documented, and delivered to agreed quality standards.

Essential requirements :

  • A degree in engineering or computer science.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer in a commercial cloud development environment.

  • Demonstrated strong design and coding skills in multiple languages, including C#.

  • Cloud development experience with ASP.Net Core, the latest .NET technologies, and microservices is essential.

  • Solid understanding of Cloud Service Architecture in Azure; AWS knowledge is also beneficial.

  • Knowledge of developing scalable and highly available systems using Microservice/Service-Oriented Architectures.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools and processes in Azure DevOps.

  • Experience working with Kubernetes and containers such as Docker.

  • Exceptional communication skills, working with a broad range of people, including Product Owners, Testers, and Product Support across sites.

  • Ability to coach and mentor less experienced colleagues.

  • Positive approach to problem-solving with a ‘can-do’ attitude.

  • Experience using Agile methodologies.

  • Exposure to Blazor is an advantage.
