Build and maintain Acumatica customisations and integrations, own a client ticket queue end-to-end, use AI-augmented tooling to increase productivity, quote and deliver to estimate, contribute to upgrades, testing, and continuous improvement of development processes.
One of Pine's portfolio companies is seeking a Software Developer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will build the customisations, integrations and AI-augmented tooling that keep Australia's largest MYOB Acumatica practice moving - and help raise what our development team is capable of.
This is a permanent full-time remote role based in Australia.
As Australia's largest MYOB Acumatica partner, we implement, customise, integrate and support ERP for clients across the country. Our development team works AI-augmented by default - Claude Code, our internal Acumatica assistant (MACK), and custom tooling are part of how we deliver, letting a small team move at a velocity larger shops can't.
The role
This is an uplift hire - we're raising the team's capability, not filling a slot. You will own real client work end-to-end: building and maintaining Acumatica customisations and integrations, and taking your own queue of client tickets from problem to resolution.
We care more about strong engineering fundamentals, learning velocity, and AI-tooling fluency than years spent in ERP - if you are a capable developer who learns fast, we will get you productive in acumatica.
What you'll do
- Build & maintain MYOB Acumatica customisations and integrations - through source control, code review and quoting (our dev process is the path, no shortcuts around it)
- Own a client ticket queue - diagnose, resolve, and keep clients informed proactively; nothing sits unattended
- Work AI-augmented - use Claude Code, MACK and our tooling to move faster and to a higher standard; help improve that tooling over time
- Quote accurately and deliver to estimate - flag overruns early
- Contribute to upgrades, testing and continuous improvement of how the team works
Must have
- 3+ years commercial development experience
- Solid software-engineering fundamentals (OO, APIs, source control)
- Strong SQL and relational-database skills
- Genuine, proactive client communication\
- Fast learner on complex systems - proven ability to pick up a new stack
- Demonstrable AI-tooling fluency in how you work
Strong Plus
- C# / .NET (or clear aptitude to master it quickly)
- MYOB Acumatica / Acumatica framework
- Wiise / Business Central
- Integration platforms & REST APIs
- Data / BI / analytics capability (a bonus for where we're heading)
What success looks like
- Productive in Acumatica customisation + integration work, delivering through the dev process
- Running your own ticket queue with near-zero items sitting unattended past 5 business days
- Quoting reliably and delivering to estimate
- Using AI tooling fluently - and contributing ideas that lift the whole team
