Your day-to-day role will include:
- Design, build, and automate integration pipelines that connect microservices, APIs, and legacy systems across environments.
- Develop and automate continuous integration, delivery, and deployment processes for integrated systems.
- Implement and maintain API management, service mesh, message broker, and middleware components to support inter-service communication.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve runtime integration behaviors, performance, and reliability.
- Analyse, mitigate, and document security risks and vulnerabilities related to integration points and DevOps processes.
- Design and deploy software capabilities on Kubernetes container orchestration platforms and ensure stable integrations in containerised environments.
- Perform fault finding and resolve ad-hoc integration and deployment issues to prevent system downtime.
- Implement new technologies, frameworks, and integration patterns in a DevOps environment.
- Develop and maintain automated integration and end-to-end tests to validate system interactions.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Kubernetes and other associated cloud-native technologies.
- Experience managing Kubernetes deployments with kubectl, Helm, Kustomize or similar.
- Knowledgeable in DevOps practices.
- Familiar with engineering processes and standards.
- Skilled in CI/CD pipeline development with FluxCD, ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD or similar.
- Capable of designing automated software tests
- Knowledge of LLM and the underlying concepts
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or related field
