As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions, working collaboratively within a cross-functional team to meet business and user needs. You will also engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from conception through deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables through rigorous testing and continuous refinement.
The OpportunityKey responsibilities in this role include:
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions while ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Modify our existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to improve performance.
- Collaborate with product teams to define specifications and develop software solutions that align with business goals.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in various programming languages.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices.
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency, troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading software as necessary.
- Work closely with other engineers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to deliver outstanding products.
Qualifications and experience essential for success in this role include:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working with the required technologies including Web applications / architecture, C#, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript (vanilla)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- The ability to be organised, resourceful, proactive and an effective communicator.
- Ability to take initiative and thrive in an environment of multi–tasking and interruptions.
- Possession of strong critical thinking, problem solving, and customer service and interaction skills.
