About the RoleWe are passionate about innovation and continuously push the boundaries of what’s possible. As a Principal Software Engineer, you’ll be empowered to experiment with the latest tools, technologies, and techniques to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Here's what you can expect:
- Innovative Conceptualisation & Prototyping: You’ll get hands-on with new ideas, building prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to test, refine, and validate the feasibility of groundbreaking concepts
- Backend Mastery: You’ll design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using serverless technologies, Spring/Spring Boot, and programming languages such as Java, Python, and TypeScript. You'll work with databases like DynamoDB and MySQL to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
- Front-End Exposure: While your focus will be on the backend, you’ll also gain experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue to create seamless user interfaces and collaborative, full-stack solutions
- DevOps Dynamo: You’ll automate infrastructure using tools like containers and Terraform to deploy, scale, and manage applications across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-premise environments. Your work will ensure our infrastructure is as reliable and efficient as possible
- A coding maestro with extensive professional experience as a developer
- You can code in a major language/framework in your sleep and have in-depth SQL/NoSQL Server knowledge
- Cloud experience with AWS or Azure is a major plus
- You're a front-end whiz with expertise in one of the big three: Angular, React, or Vue
- Learning new languages and technologies excites you
- Agile workflows are your jam - you have a solid understanding of CI/CD, build pipelines, testing, and software architecture
- You can whiteboard your way out of any challenge with a firm grasp of computing fundamentals (logic, data structures, algorithms, etc.), strong software design skills (OO principles), and proficiency in version control systems like Git
- When a new challenge arises, you grab a pen and say, "Let's do this!"
